Altered Domino

Andy Skinner Challenge -Bold and Bright

                 💖 DREAM & INSPIRE 💖

I am making this art work for Andy Skinner's challenge. I have used all the techniques which I have learned from Andy Skinner's tutorials. I do hope you all will like my art 😊😊

 I am making art on a watercolour board which I have prepared by DecoArt media gesso.

Then made design by DecoArt media liquid glass. Then I painted it with DecoArt media fluid acrylic -Cobalt Turquoise Hue, Americana multi-surface Satin-Flamingo, DecoArt media fluid acrylic -Dioxazine Purple,DecoArt media Primary Yellow .
I have also used DecoArt media misters in shimmer mister-Turquoise,  Violet, Mister in Primary Yellow and Orange.

I am loving these colours so much and the way liquid glass is popping up between these colours.

I had a wooden heart which I have gessoed and then painted with Americana multi-surface Satin-Flamingo and DecoArt media fluid- Dioxazine Purple. For stamping on the heart I have used Andy Skinner's industrial stamp and DecoArt's mettalic lustre in Brilliant Turquoise and used it to give an outline to the heart with a hint of DecoArt Mettalic Lustre in Gold Rush.

 When dried I have kept DecoArt media crackle glaze and let those beautiful cracks appear. Then I have kept DecoArt media Antiquing cream in Black. When dried I have wiped it with a baby wipe as it will go in those cracks and it looks wonderful.

I love making my own clay embellishments so I made one to go on this beautiful heart.I have painted this embellishment with DecoArt media fluid acrylic -Quinacridone Gold... oh I love this colour so much. Then Black Antiquing cream. Then finished by DecoArt Mettalic Lustre in Gold Rush and Brilliant Turquoise. Embellishment is ready to go on my heart. I have glued it with a strong glue.
I have also kept some metal embellishments 😊😊
I have used Andy Skinner's stencil and DecoArt media Modeling Paste in black colour to write Dream word underneath the heart and with a silver pen kept dots on them to show as if words have been screwed.

I have finished my art work by sealing it with a gloss spray.

I have saved my paper towel which I was using while making my art work... looks very colourful 😄😉 I will use it in one of my art projects. Nothing goes waste 😊😊
